Performing Arts Club Have you seen our members lurking all over the Lodge? They seem to be questioning everyone they meet for help and ideas to take back to our meetings. Were you one of the people who stopped and talked to us at the PAC table on Club Day? PAC members want to entertain you but don't know what you want. (Apparently there is a reward for the best idea.) Submit your requests to any member or bring your ideas to our meeting on Oct. 22, at 2 pm. All requests greatly appreciated. Coming up soon is our Readers Theater Radio Show on Friday, Oct. 4, in the Ballroom. Eat your Smitty's dinner or enjoy a snack or drink and stay for the show. I don't want to give anything away, but we are checking to see if a famous star will repeat his role alongside the Lone Ranger. We are thinking about our 2014 calendar. Murder Mystery Theater is planned for late March. More Readers Theater Radio Shows, a Fourth of July Show and Holiday Show are planned. Some other items proposed are: Gong Show, Broadway Musicals, 55+ Comedy Show. If you are interested in joining PAC or have any questions, please sign up on the sign-up sheet in the lobby of the Lodge or contact Susan Youel or Sheldon Craig at syoul@earthlink.net. ~ Barbra Wasco Amphitheater Production The Amphitheater's Grand Finale has come and gone once again. Hopefully you won't soon forget those great sounds and the fun evening with the Tom Nolan Band. We'd like to thank all our marvelous residents who marked their calendar and came on down to enjoy the different and talented groups that were scheduled over the summer months. I think we all had a super time despite a glitch here and there. Think back to May and Tony Suraci's beautiful voice and "eye candy" looks… and how excited he was on the birth of his daughter. Sofia is almost six months old! So now we will take November and December off to rest and recoup and we'll officially begin again in January. We have lots of ideas already in the works and please don't forget — any suggestions on talent is always welcome. Special thanks to Cindy Graves (our mainstay) and Lodge Staff Nelly, Crystal and McAdam for all their help with flyers, posters and answering those questions throughout the summer months. Wishing you a wonderful upcoming holiday season and so long until January when this column will start again with perhaps some hints of the 2014 Sixth Year Summer Amphitheater Season. ~ Penny McDonell 32 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2013 | clubs & Groups Four Season Singers Rehearsals are in full swing.
