dinner dance club Members, please take note: The November dinner dance will be Sat., Nov. 30 from 5 to 9:30 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. We are opening the doors a half hour earlier so we can enjoy a 30 minute free dance lesson for any members who are interested. After the lesson we have enough time to get our drinks and visit with friends. Then, from 6 to 9:30 pm, Global Affair will be playing their music for our listening and dancing pleasure. Our menu for the evening offers a very nice variety to tempt our palettes. We will start our dinner with a carrot, raisin, pecan salad followed by your choice of entrée. You can choose from the turkey dinner with mashed sweet potatoes for $21. Or, you might opt for the lamb chop dinner with mashed sweet potatoes for $25. If you were looking for the vegetarian dinner, it is a fettuccini alfredo with broccoli and mushrooms for $19. Your dinner is topped off with a delicious dessert, an upside-down apple cobbler sundae. We have a traditional American buffet complete with a carving station with turkey, dressing and gravy, along with baked ham. On the serving line you will find sweet potatoes with brown sugar, mashed potatoes and green beans almandine, cranberry sauce with mandarin oranges with walnuts on the side. Dinner salad with ranch and Italian dressing will be table pre-set along with warm dinner rolls and butter. For dessert pumpkin pie with whipped cream will be table served. Skyline Express is the featured band for the evening, and for those of you who have not heard them play as they haven't been out here very often, you are in for a treat. They start playing at 6 pm, doors will open at 5:30 pm. The buffet by table call starts at 6:30 pm.
