Picture this: It's you and your spouse or guest at
the annual Photography Group Holiday Pot Luck.
Our holiday party will be held on Dec. 9, our usual
second Monday of the month meeting day, at the Sun
Lakes North Clubhouse. The fun starts at 6 pm. Bring
something, preferably food,to share either in a dish, in
a pot or in a box; and BYOB — whatever that means.
No need to bring photographs since everyone will
be eating and you don't want sticky fingers on your
pictures. So to reiterate, our Photo Group Holiday
Pot Luck, 6 pm, Dec. 9, North Clubhouse. For further
party or Photo Group information contact Steve
Felber at 769-6898.

We were fortunate to have two
speakers for our October meeting.
Our first speaker, Fred Hawkins,
gave us an overview of a series
of six talks that would benefit
beginners to pros. He shared some
stories with us and handed out
a colored fan chart that makes
it easy to see at a glance where
you are missing information. The
different colors represent different
lines on your tree.
Our second speaker, Mick
Altmyer, returned to strengthen
what we had learned at our
August meeting. He reiterated
that RootsMagic works well with
