Welcome to your Four Seasons library! I have been so pleased to see so many new hardbound books donated lately. They are fantastic! Notice that we have very full shelves again. We will simply rotate books to keep it full. I want to remind you that you may go to the front desk for help in reaching that top shelf. We do have a book "easy reach" hanging on the left hand wall for reaching that high. I have some how managed to pull books down on top of me using it so do feel free to spot a taller person and ask for a favor. Our committee is comprised of volunteers living in Four Seasons who enjoy reading and have a desire to keep our 55+ library in order. We know you want to help but we find books that are not alphabetical or non-fiction in fiction, etc. Just leave everything for us even if it's so overflowing that you are sure you should help. We still have not had the many borrowed Clive Cussler's books returned. His books are very popular with the men of Four Seasons so please think of the whole community and don't take that many books of one author again. Thanks. Our magazine rack holds three months of donated material. Please bring August, September, and October at this time. Our magazine rack has been really full lately. Thank you for your donations and for returning what you borrow. Please remember that the front desk has a huge collection of DVD's that you may borrow to enjoy at home. We still have some children's movies in the long cabinet under the R-S shelves. We have both books on tape and books on CD. Check the shelves under the D-E shelves. Enjoy your library to it's fullest potential. We appreciate you and love hearing that you appreciate my hard working volunteers! Committee member Cookie read Janet Evanavitch's Top Secret Twenty-One. I have been reading the Stephanie Plum novels since she wrote One For The Money. They are silly, crazy, with insane characters that you will fall in love with, and ridiculous plots. That's why you laugh so much. This book finds Stephanie tracking Jimmy Poletti who has missed his date in court. Stephanie is Trenton New Jersey's hot female bounty hunter. Leads on Jimmy are turning into dead ends and usually with dead bodies. Stephanie has negative history with Randy Briggs. Briggs was picking up quick cash as Poletti's bookkeeper and knows all of Poletti's secrets. This forces Stephanie to protect Randy while someone is trying to blow him up. Things get complicated when s Randy moves in with Stephanie. Evanivich drives us crazy giving Stephanie two romantic interests. Joe Morelli is Trenton's hottest cop and the love of her life but Ranger, who owns Rangeman Security, is her greatest temptation. Someone is trying to assassinate Ranger and he needs Stephanie's help in finding out who wants him dead. As usual, her heart becomes involved. Did I mention that Start Street is overrun by a pack of feral Chihuahuas? Or Stephanie's Grandma Mazur's wild bucket list? And, never forget Joe Morelli's Grandma Bella. I don't know which Grandma is the craziest. If you want serious, skip this book. If you need to laugh at nonsense, pick this book up in the hardback section.
