15 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2014 | Halloween 2014 at Four Seasons will long be remembered as truly an "Enchanted Evening." Gone were the colors of orange and black, gone were the scarecrows, black cats, skeletons and RIP signs. All were replaced with elegant decorations of lavender and green creating an atmosphere of elegance. All of this was designed by Sharon Sims, Event Chairperson, who had a "vision" to kick-up the ballroom decorations for a "classic Halloween" event for all of the residents. In addition to all of the unique decorations, our residents supported the evening with an array of most interesting costumes and masks… sometimes it was difficult to guess who was behind the mask, which made for a most interesting evening. There are so many creative people that live here at Four Seasons and thank you for the fun of seeing all of the many different costumes… they get bigger and better every time. Francisco and crew excelled in the kitchen and served up another delicious meal for all of the guests. Highway 91 returned for another visit to our Ballroom and kept the entertainment part of the evening rolling along with good music for listening and dancing. Assisting Sharon with all of her creative decorating ideas were committee members; Phyllis Brumfield, Margie Coulton, Margo Dennis, Jeanne Lincoln, Theresa Slater, Fran Spina, Nina States. And not to forget, the gentlemen who always assist with the tools and ladders; Rick Dennis, Don Sims and Bob States... thanks guys! Paddy Craun served as Liaison for the Social Committee. It takes many, many people to plan a social event and we can always depend on Louise Ceccarelli, Activities Director and our Euclid Management staff to support all of our endeavors. And, and not to forget is all of you… our Four Seasons residents, who are always so loyal and supportive to attend the many events here at Four Seasons which are planned for you by the Social Committee. An Enchanted Evening Social Committee Sharon Sims and her committee did a wonderful job on the Halloween Party. The decorations were lovely, a beautiful change from the usual orange and black. It was fun to see so many of our friends dressed in their creative costumes. It makes a great icebreaker at a party to try and guess who is behind the mask or the make-up. Thanks, also, to Francisco for another delicious meal. Our last party of the year is the New Year's Eve Party. It's a pleasure to spend a the holiday in our beautiful Ballroom and not have to fight the traffic and drinkers on the highway. Linda Gentile and her committee have some great and different ideas to make the evening special. Delicious food, dancing, entertainment, photos, good company of our Four Seasons friends will appeal to all. We hope many of you have your tickets by now but if not we're sure there are still some available. Plans have been made for the year 2015. We appreciate everyone's input and especially the input of our guests at the Appreciation and Planning Brunch. We have a long list of ideas for the future years. Many of them could not be implemented by 2015 but we will work on them in the future. If you are interested in serving on a committee or being a chairman, contact Marilyn Rhyne by email, phone or leave a note at the front desk. We are looking forward to some exciting and fun parties and events for the year 2015.
