The Rainbow Group is continuing its informal social evenings. We hope this will allow as many of our LGBT neighbors and friends, and their friends, to get together with us. Our next social will be on Thursday, July 30 at 6 pm. Let's gather in the courtyard area outside Smitty's, order whatever dinner items you wish and then enjoy each other's company and conversation while having dinner on the patio. Should you wish to enjoy your own beverages, please feel free to bring whatever you desire. If you have any suggestions or questions, please call/email Dale at (951) 797-0364 or dale.beckes@gmail.com; or Barbara at (951) 845-6246 or bamerton@ alumni.ucla.edu. ~ Dale Beckes 36 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2015 Rainbow Group We hope you enjoy our performance at the July 4th Patriotic Show. If you get your copy of the Breeze early, we hope to see you there. We are now rehearsing for the August PG 55+ Show which is turning into a production you won't want to miss. Our producer, John Horning, has quite a few things up his sleeve including an unveiling! We meet in the Ballroom near the piano. Rehearsals are on Mondays from 3 to 5 pm. Or, you can contact Barbara Wasco (951) 797-3466 or email at bawasco@dc.rr.com. ~ Barbara Wasco Four Seasons Singers Summer affects the Bereavement Group just as it does the other groups at Four Seasons. It is the season for vacations, for traveling to see friends and family, for inviting others to visit us, and for exploring new places. Therefore, people who might at other times of the year come to a bereavement group, often find their solace and strength by spending time with friends and family who are more available during the summer. And those who have come to the Group often take some time away to take a pre-planned vacation or to visit family. Terrific! The purpose of a bereavement group is to help the bereaved person process their grief, and to help them make choices which will lead to a different but ultimately fulfilling life. If these goals can be reached with the loving help of friends and family, how wonderful that is. And if more help is needed to finish the process, the Bereavement Group will be available. If you would like to join us, please come to the Crafts room at the Lodge on Mondays at 1 pm. The group is from 1 to 3 pm. Alternatively, you may contact me by phone at (951) 922-0934, or by email at lauriemlarson425@gmail.com. All contact is confidential. ~ Laurie Larson Bereavement Group
