FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2016 41 In November the championship dinner for John Bragg the winner for October was served. Fried chicken, potato salad, cake and all that good stuff that is bad for our old bodies was enjoyed by everyone. The domino champion for the month of November was Jesse Dimmer with 15 game wins. Jesse, Jesse, Jesse, you were just the champion in September. Somebody get a fire extinguisher and cool him down. The man is on fire. Congratulations, way to go Jesse. Jesse decided on having polish sausages, chips and cake for his victory dinner. Everyone enjoyed the meal that was served Hurry up and win Jim Stover, we need some more cowboy beans and chili. Dominoes are played every Wednesday and Friday from 5 to 9 pm in the Lodge Game Room. During the holidays we skipped a few days. Gaines Dominoes Our club still is collecting some additional members, which is great! There are several different projects by the class members - caricatures, relief carvings and chip carving. We continue learning how to keep our knives and chisels sharpened and ready for use. All are welcome to bring their skills and projects to share in the chip making experience. We meet from 3 to 5 pm in the Lodge Craft Room. The doubles competition was won by the team of Richard Burns and Victor Mayoral. The singles competition was won by Dave Roldan who never lost a match. Congratulations gentlemen. The thing I love about this club is we are so evenly matched talent wise that we very seldom have repeat winners. Next, we all enjoyed our annual Christmas party, this year being hosted by Ron and Judy Erickson. You talk about Christmas lights, WOW. Their place is a MUST SEE – NEXT YEAR! Fun was had, games were played and most enjoyed the entertaining bartender. Oh what a great group of people we have.
