The regular monthly Anglers Club
meeting is scheduled for April 12 at
7 pm in the Mykonos Room in the
Clubhouse. All members and guests
are invited to attend this or any regular
monthly meetings held the second
Tuesday of the month in the Mykonos
Room to hear the latest fishing information.
The April program will be a hands-on knot
tying seminar on three essential knots that you need
to know for our local and off-shore fishing trips.
Ten members participated on a cool and misty day in the Feb.18
OHA low net golf tournament. Everyone had a good time, and Mike
Caligiuri won $20 for first place, Dennis Lady got $14 for second low
net, and Eddie Ramseyer won $10 for third low net. In addition Len
Holness and Cass Teele won $4 each for closest to the pin on holes
number 7 and 16.
The April local three-quarter day fishing trip is scheduled for
Thurs., April 7, on the Pacific Voyager. You may sign up and deposit
your check for $115 in the Anglers Club check envelope at the Front
Desk, or at the meeting, for this or any of the
monthly fishing trips during the year, as long
as space is available. We are planning on
fishing locally somewhere between La Jolla
and the Del Mar coast where you will only need
a current California sportfishing license. We meet
in the overflow parking lot and depart by 4:45 am to
carpool to the landing. The boat normally will return
about 4 pm. The three-quarter day trips are limited to
the first 20 anglers who sign up and pay for the trip. For

During the April meeting we will have another drawing with a
chance for you to win some great prizes, if your lucky ticket is drawn.
Tickets are six for $5 or one dollar each.
