28 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JULY 2016 | What is the Paisano Club, and do you have to be Italian to join? Paisano means "friend" in Italian and anyone can join. We have dinner, which is always different and features the best local entertainment Sun Lakes has to offer. Fri., July 1 is our 4th of July extravaganza at the South Clubhouse. Doors open at 5:30 pm, and the price is $15 pp. Please drop off your checks to Provi at 630 Twin Hills Dr., or call her at 845-1601. The entrée for July 4 will be the classic 4th of July dinner - lots of hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad and all the fixings for this glorious day, along with dessert of course. Coffee and water provided, you are welcome to BYOB. Entertainment for July will be a western theme of music and dancing. Singles don't fret, I have a solution for all members to participate. Come find out what I have in mind. It'll be great fun. Due to limitations in seating (per fire code) first 100 people to get their checks in will have seats. Drop off checks at Provi's home in the box out front. Drop off no later than the 15th of the month. Just a note: if your check is paying for two people please write the other name on your checks, unless you are married and both names are on your check. We are still accepting new memberships. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month. Our summer meetings (July, August, and September) are held only on the third Thursday of these months. The club is for persons of all computer skill levels. Each meeting will feature various topics and speakers. Handouts are given out for each presentation so you can take notes. This is a great way to share information and learn some of the ways in becoming an effective computer user. Upcoming topics: July 12: Cord cutting, getting rid of cable TV August: Planning for your Digital after Life September: Printers Membership dues are $20 dollars per year per household.
