FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2016 15
If the fun and nostalgia wasn't special enough
for you, the heart-bursting, tear-jerking moment
of the night was when Al and Christine Gray's
son, Josh Gray, secretly arrived back in the states
after being deployed by the Army for two years
(photo inset). He did not tell his mother he was
returning so he could greet her with flowers at
the Motown show… sniff, sniff… the audience
that witnessed this surprise gave him a standing ovation which then
brought a wave of tears down his face (thank you Four Seasons for
that).
All of the performers and dancers did a spectacular job as well
as all our wonderful techies handling the stage,
lighting and sound (you know who you heroes are).
There were choreographers and stage managers
and camera people involved with this show… lots
of people came together to make this show a success
and lots of people showed up to see this successful
show. Great job to everyone who donated their
efforts to Motown, cause it was mo' fun than lots of
us have had on a Friday night for a long time! If you missed the show
you can see it on our Association website at fourseasonsatbeaumont.
com and then click on videos and you'll see the show listed there.
