Tennis Friends
The Tennis Friends gathered Nov. 13, to mark the end of another
active year with a Potluck B-B-Q (or grilling).
The pictures above show the Tennis Spirit Award which was created
in memory of Bill Koretke. The award is given, as Bill demonstrated,
to an individual who also exhibits sustained good sportsmanship,
participation, and helpfulness to the Tennis Friends.
Almost everyone contributes to Tennis in one way or another, so
we should be thankful. If you look closely you will see that George
Doktorczyk has been named this years award winner. Congratulations.
Over the years, George has played, run our tournaments, taken
care of our ball machines, and helped us understand tennis etiquette.
Pictured also above is George taking a break with some of our fun
loving tennis buddies. Since we are all about fun on the courts, it was
nice to have a fun B-B-Q on the patio. In the meantime if you need
any information ask Tracy Trousset, Chuck Sims or Judy Bailey. Or
show up to the courts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays,
Fridays, or Saturdays … you get the idea.
