FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2017 53 The Curly Cues are growing — in number that is! As of the first week in April, we now have 28 members… Yay! In order to accommodate all the play and reduce waiting, we have implemented two sessions: 11 am to 1 pm or 1 to 3 pm. So far, it's worked really well. For instance, when we only have eight ladies attend at either of the sessions, then it becomes singles play instead of partnership play, so each person has more shots (and thus more practice!). It's so much fun to see how each of the members of Curly Cues is improving their individual games, and having fun doing it! Several new members have joined in the last month: Dianne Rothberg, Rachel Voss, Jodi Wilson, Janet McAdamis, Suzanne Roldan, Judy Cline and Lynn Brendel. (See above photos of three of our new members - more later.) Even though they just joined, they are all becoming just as proficient as the other members of this great group! In April we held our bi-monthly luncheon at Guy's Italian Restaurant, which was so much fun. There were about 18 women in attendance, amidst laughter, fun and lots of amazing food! Then we returned to the Lodge so the 1 pm session could begin. It all seems to work out so nicely because the ladies are so accommodating and genuine. On April 24, we held our quarterly tournament, and the winners will be announced and pictured in the June issue of the Breeze. If any of you lovely Four Seasons ladies are interested in joining a delightful group of really kind, fun, and lovely women, please consider joining the Curly Cues. It's okay if you've never played before — we'll be happy to help. Please drop by the Billiards Room (across from the theater) any Monday between 11 am and 3 pm and we can arrange a time to bring you up to speed on the APA rules, or help you brush up on those rusty billiards skills.
