| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | May 2017 | 35 Tennis Friends Trending on the Four Seasons Tennis Courts! "Love" found a "match" again on the sports courts of Hemet Four Seasons. Trish Egan, a resident since 2005, and Graham Moorhouse, a resident since 2014, will be united in marriage this month, after having met each other on the Four Seasons Pickleball Courts in 2015. The score is "ad in" for these doubles partners after Graham hit an Ace! The engaged couple enjoy playing both tennis and pickleball. When you show up at the courts, it can have a very positive influence on your life (exercise, favorite sport, good friends and even love). What are you looking for? Come join us on the courts now that the weather is at its best. Most every morning someone is playing. We welcome all levels. Article and photo by Tracy Trousset, with assistance from Mrs. Sharon Uhlken, who was united in marriage to Dennis in November, 2016, on the Four Seasons tennis courts. We cover many areas of health concerns, only one of which is weight loss. Our main focus is support. We like the first line of the next paragraph. It works MAGIC! A positive attitude is important for successful weight management. Whether you need to lose, gain, or maintain your weight, you need to make a commitment to gradually adopt a healthier "weigh" of life. You can look at nutrition as a health investment for a long and healthy lifestyle. The sooner you start, the healthier you will be in the long run. The best way to lose weight is to eat less; choose foods low in total fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol; and exercise regularly. Being overweight might increase your risk of developing high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and certain forms of cancer. Losing weight is a big plus in your overall health. We encourage team members to keep that in their goal to a healthy lifestyle. We meet every Wednesday at 9 am in the Multipurpose Room. If you have any questions about our program, please call Dave and Karen Tuvim, 599-4236. HEALTHY LIVING "Walk-Fit" Exercise Club Grab a bottle of water, put on a comfortable pair of walking shoes and join us for an hour of great cardio exercise. Rain or shine you will see a group of "happy walkers" burning calories and building strength. Please try the class. There is no obligation for trying and you may be surprised at what the class entails. The "Walk Fit" Exercise Club offers you 180 minutes a week of low impact aerobic activity. You can tailor the class to your own needs and schedule. The full one hour class (three times a week) is a four mile walk, but you can join us for as much as will work for you. You can leave early or arrive later to shorten your walk. If you can only be there one or two days a week, that's okay too. New members — both men and women — are welcome. We meet Mon., Wed. and Fri. from 7:45 to 8:45 am in the Lodge Ballroom (for the full hour). We are free. For more information contact Karen Tuvim (951) 599-4236 or Kay Masonbrink (951) 223-3047.
