The Chavurah Club is changing its leadership for the next seven months.
Dr. Zee Knapp and husband have left for their alternate home in Hawaii and
will return in July. Taking over the leadership is Nancy Justice. If you have
any ideas or suggestions, please contact Nancy at (951) 769-5804.
Upcoming events:
On Feb. 18, the movie of the month is Temple Grandin Thinking in Pictures.
It is a documentary on Temple, an autistic woman who overcame her
disability and revitalized the cattle industry. I found it fascinating to enter
the world of autism through impressive visuals and emotional portrayals. It
is a film with multiple positive reviews.
As always if you have any movie suggestions for the future let Nancy know.
On Thursday, Feb. 22, (please put the date in your calendar) an
organizational meeting will take place at Nancy Justice's home (307 Blowing
Rock) from 6 to 7 pm to plan future events. Those outside of Four Seasons
only have to contact Nancy with their names for the guard gate entry.
Heads Up: Passover will be coming up in April. It is suggested we hold our
third annual Seder on April 1 or 7 (last night). I will need to know if you plan
to attend so I can make reservations for an appropriate space.
