| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | July 2018 | 11 Access Control Committee Well, we are finally near the end of our RFID project. I am sure there are still some stragglers out there, and once it is realized they can no longer get in through the front and rear gates with their old transponders, they too will come home to roost. Thank you all for your cooperation in helping to make this project a success. We will continue to clear up any residual outstanding issues that emerge, so feel free to contact the Lodge if you have any questions. The Access Control Committee is committed to finding current and up to date solutions that will keep our Four Seasons community more safe. The RFID issue is only one of many, that as a committee, we have to face. In the coming weeks and months there are many other issues we are working on, including traffic control, registering our vendors, updating our surveillance systems, and improving how we handle traffic at our front gate. We hope these solutions ensure the safety of both residents and visitors as they enter and leave the premises. You can be assured the ACC team is constantly working to ensure your safety. Social Committee Summer is here! As the song goes, "Time has come for dancing in the streets!" Except at Four Seasons, we will be dancing on the patio under our new Plaza lights! We would like to thank the Board for approving our proposal to buy and install those beautiful lights on the patio that we will enjoy so much at our outdoor summer events. They will remain up through all our summer events until after the Luau Dinner show on Sept. 29 — maybe even in to the winter. This is so wonderful to have lighting for our residents to enjoy our patio, from Social Committee events to your own barbecues and parties, without tripping in the dark! Our Fourth of July Celebration will be kicking off at 9 am for a golf cart parade. Decorate your cart and join us! The fun and games will begin at 4 pm when the gates open. There will be prizes and a few surprises too! All-American hot dogs and hamburgers will be served 5 -7 pm to eat when you are ready. Music starts at 7 pm. So enjoy the fun with your friends and neighbors! Don't forget the pie baking contest. Pick up an application or call Barb Balser at (760) 470-3968 for any additional info. As a part of the Fourth of July community "to do," an Americana traditional Fourth of July cart parade will be held. Decorate your carts with a patriotic theme. There will be donuts, juice and social time at 9 am. The short cart parade will begin around 9:30 am. Meet, start and end will be in front of the Lodge. If you know of anyone that would be interested, please invite them. Reach out to our newer residents! There will be music on the plaza on July 24 for the Hit City Rockers and our August summer movie series. Bring your friends and neighbors and join us on the plaza for fun under the lights this summer. Just a little additional note: Your Social Committee will be meeting to form a new calender of events for next year. We'd like you to submit ideas for events you'd like to see and also to volunteer and help serve with a committee! It's a great way to have fun and make new friends!
